Ich hab ne Aufnahme von GongFM, wo Elli den Song unplugged singt, da kann man den Text ganz gut hören. Hab jetzt grad noch mal reingehört, ich hör immer "space", ein deutliches "sp" am Anfang. Auch ins Video hab ich jetzt noch mal reingeschaut, auch da sieht die Lippenbewegung nach nem "sp" aus - Sinn hin oder her! Das wird wohl nur Elli aufklären können
 Beim Chorus bin ich mir aber 100% sicher!! "There`s no need to high", wie bitte willst du das übersetzen? Makes no sense at all to me! Geändert von wassereule (13.07.2004 um 13:22 Uhr)

Vielleicht aber heißt es gar nicht "never touched this face", sondern "phase", das wäre phonetisch gleich, aber dann gäbe die verwendung von "space" und "place" mehr Sinn. *seufz*
Und was ist mit dem Anfang der zweiten Strophe? "dreamy night" ... was hört ihr da? "dreamly" jedenfalls nicht, das Wort kenn ich gar nicht...
